Silver award winner, Decanter!
This stunning Malbec was grown in a vineyard located 1,050m above sea level in the Vista Flores area of the Uco Valley. There's a double selection of grapes to make sure only the best fruit are used for the wine, fermentation in stainless steel tanks with between 30 and 45 days of maceration which is dependent on tasting the wine during this time. Then 12 months in French oak barrels of first and second use, before finally being allowed to rest in the bottle for 8 months. Phew!
This wine is Vegan.
Antucura Single Vineyard Malbec
Type: Red
Grape: Malbec
Year: 2020
ABV: 14.5%
Region: Vista Flores, Valle De Uco, Mendoza
Food: Pasta dishes with tomato, garlic, rosemary, sage, mushrooms, olives and onions are ideal partners. Not to mention the classics pairs of medium strength cheeses and steaks.
Tasting Notes: This beautifully oaked Malbec is an intense red with violet reflections. The aromas of red fruits are to the fore with mouth watering notes of toasted brioche in the background. The palate is lovely and soft with round tannins and a nice integration with the oak. A refined long finish.
