The Malbec grapes in this gorgeous wine are from a vineyard located at 1,100m above sea level in the Los Chacayes area of the Uco Valley. With snow melt from the nearby Andes mountains providing water for irrigation, the vines work hard in the sandy and rocky soil to produce high-quality fruit. Despite some intense rainfall early in the summer 2021 this is another superb vintage.
This wine was given 12 months in French oak barrels of first and second use, before finally being allowed to rest in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months. Drink some now and put some down to develop further over the coming years
