Altamira Navigato Family Selection
This fabulous blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc was aged for 24 months, yes two years, in new French oak barrels. Wow, you already know this is going to be big wine. The grapes came from two vineyards both in the Uco Valley where they picked the grapes by hand in late March and early April. The winemaker Attilio Pagli has produced a truely lovely wine that is best decanted at least an hour, ideally two, before drinking. A wine to savour.
El Porvenir ICON Blend
This quite outstanding wine is a blend of at least four red varietals that vary each year as the winemaker will choose only the very best wines from each vintage to make up this iconic blend. The wine spends a minimum of 18 months in new French and American oak barrels and almost 2 years in bottle before being released.
Antucura Gran Vin
A selection of only the best grapes made up of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1,000 metres in the stunning Valle de Uco. After pressing, the wine has been aged for 18 months in first-use French oak barrels. This is a wine to be saved for special occasions and special people, and savour both together.
Tempus Alba Pleno
A blend of 65% Malbec and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; aged for 15 months in 90% French and 10% American oak barrels in order to let the wine develop its incredible structure. This wine needs around an hour to breath before you can experience its full glory. If you can restrain yourself then it will also age beautifully.
Accuro Inspirado
Made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, and 25% Petit Verdot, each of the varietals was aged separately for 6months, then blended and aged together for a further 6months. There is a bold ruby red colour and strong aromas of preserved red fruits, nuts, smoke, cassis and clove. On the palate it has a smooth velvet feel with soft tannins and a long finish.
Antucura Blend Selection
A globally renowned blend of 33% Malbec, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot grown at an altitude of 1,000 metres in this boutique winery. The wine has been aged for 12 months in first and second use French oak barrels prior to bottle ageing for another 12 months to fully develop a bouquet typical of the terrain in Vista Flores.
