If our courier tries to deliver your wine but you are not at home, we will leave the wine in a location per your instructions. If you haven't left instructions with us your wine will likely be left with a neighbour who is over 18 or taken back by the courier. If you agree to have your wine left in an unsecured location (e.g. porch, neighbour, in the dustbin), responsibility for completed delivery passes to you and we will accept the assurance of our courier that delivery has been completed.
-
If, in the unlikely event, your order or part of your order is broken in transit, we will issue a refund for the broken items or arrange a replacement. Should your order arrive damaged we ask that you note down the damage and contact us as soon as possible at hello@Ruta40.com.
-
If the wrong products are delivered to you in error, we will replace them (provided we can still supply the product(s) from stock) or have them returned to us and issue a refund. You will not be liable for any additional delivery charge in this case.

Return & Refund Policy
-
If, in the unlikely event, wine is "off" please contact us at hello@Ruta40.com and we will replace it. The issue would need to be reported to us within 1 month of your original order.
-
It is worth noting that many older wines can have corks that crumble and contain sediment which is a natural part of wine ageing. This doesn't mean the wine is off / has turned.
-
Please store your wine at a cool consistent temperature, not near anything hot (ie a radiator, oven, on a windowsill) and preferably on its side, to optimise wine ageing.
